MY 09 VE Calais question

hey guys. my dad just picked up his brand new VE Calais V on saturday (loving it) and i just had a small question.

iv been through the instruction manual and cant find anything.

under the door mirrors there is a light panel. what is that for and how do you turn it on?

It's called a Puddle Light and is for illuminating the ground near the doors at night. It's in the MFD under approach lighting.
