Got a call from the missus yesterday and after finally settling her down to understand what she was saying , She informed me that she had won a mini through a competition at he work !
Its a black Cooper S and an automatic .
Pick it up in around 2 weeks !
Was bummed about not winning tuesdays lotto but i can settle for this !!!
Am so bloody happy.
Anyone own one ? They any good ?

Awesome! The turbo Cooper S is actually nicer to drive than the old supercharged Cooper S. I'm not an auto person but I'm sure your missus will love it, and if she lets you drive it ;) you'll love the go-kart feeling too :goodjob: A nice change from driving the holden

Do some searching ( of course ya will ) but from what I can understand - the John Cooper Works tuning package is around 3k and makes a big difference - in a car that light, small things make a big difference. ( not the bigger full package - thats worth considerably more ).

she finally got the call today to ask what colour and transmission she would like the cooper s in !
So my question is fellas, What colour/ trans would be best for resale?
Was thinking red and manual.

I think you hit the nail on the head with Red and Manual. If you go Auto you will really limit who you can sell the car to. Most die hard fans and enthusiasts will want manual!!
