Last Sunday a mate of mine bought his Ducati over for a run and we decided to get a couple of shots. Neither were totally clean, but I was pretty happy with the contrasting colours of the yellow and red.

Nice GTS mate and I like the peek into the engine bay especially the intake:)
Also the SV99 rims make it look nice as well I have been thinking about them for my Vy..... a few more engine bay pics would be nice.:)

Oh and the bike looked pretty good as well .... if your into that sort of thing that is:confused:

cheers

maybe a hurricane intake, if so I would be interested to hear how you find this setup and do you think its worth it.

You blocked the numberplate in the first pic but not the second mate :)

Stuff the bike...take that car anyday as i've always like the VtII GTS':goodjob:

That's because the first shot was to be used elsewhere (where I didn't want the numberplates shown).

Also the SV99 rims make it look nice as well

They aren't SV99 wheels. The SV99's were painted a champaign colour whereas the GTS300's are shadow-chrome (as all GTS rims are).

This is what it looks like now:

This is what the same engine bay looked like before:

As you can see there isn't much left off the original, so I've got boxes in the store room with the Red Throttlebody, Engine Covers and Intake (as none of it is used with the 8TB setup).

how do you find the hurricane setup C4B? would you go the same setup again if you were building a n/a engine or just settle for a FAST setup?

Shame it wasnt red, Ducati dont make to many late model ones that aren't.

Engine bay looks good with the 8TB's,very clean in both shots, just need to pull all the stickers off.

I bet the hardest part of your week is at 9am on a sunny, low 20 degree Sunday morning - "Hmmm which one do i take for a lap down the coast?" !!

I'm not a big lover of stickers (notice the exterior of the car is sticker free except the original HSV sticker on the back screen). The stickers are to save me being asked the same questions over and over every time I open the bonnet.... "Mate who did all the work???" "What sort of cam has it got in it???" etc..... I just wish I had a Harrop sticker so the "What sort of intake is it????" question answered itself too.....

So when ya handed over 3 or 4 kanga for that intake Harrop never gave you a sticker......lol

Beautiful car and a very well finished bay. TUFF.
Cheers.

Drop me a note (ken@harrop.com.au) with your postal address & we will get something up to you. The kits ship with decals & badges ...
