I'm a huge fan of the VX HSVs.. they just look tough.. and red was definately an awesome colour, made them look mental... I love your car mate, and the mods you have going are fantastic, i would have done very similar!.. my only criticism is the new rims, i'm not a fan... i would've gone the newer model HSV rims for it, say VX GTS', VY GTS', VE Clubby rims in black? even the original VX Clubby rims are nice.. they suit the car so well! but that's only my opinion... awesome car mate!

im guessing those red rings are 'koko rings'? how much is a set of them? and what colours can you get them in? as im interested in a set for my black VE GTS 20" when i get them.

hot car btw!

Looks pimpin!

I was looking at the brakes and thinking they don't look at big, then I realised the new rims are 20's...

I love the VX HSV shape so keep this baby as long as you can.

yeah. ive had the cam and all that done for about 2 years now so its gettin a bit in the way of needed more but it never gets driven with me bein away from home so i just cant justify it i would love too but hey where do ya stop friggin cars haha.

i got the rims from tech nine in perth. and yes they are kyoko rings or whatever they are called. ya can get em in red white grey yellow green and a few others i think. the rims were 4g with tyres and the rings were 100 bucks each rim.... but it took 4-5 months since i ordered them to get them but it didnt really faze me. The photos look pretty shit i am going to get some better ones over the weekend the wheels dont look too bad. I wanted something different anyway everyone has hsv rims etc this way atleast in albury no one to my knowledge has them. everyone is different i suppose hey

and yeh the brakes are pretty big they had about 1mm clearance under the std 18's and by **** do they throw some brake dust. this is where the black wheels shit all over the gold ones the brake dust doesnt show up as much.

Awesome clubby mate.
Red HSV's are the way to go, just screams Holden. Couldn't go past the VX shape too, mean stance and awesome lines.
I just bought my first HSV: an 01 VX Clubby! in immaculate condition too, gotta love old people - they sure know how to keep a car looking new!
No mods yet, but upgrades in the pipeline are similar to yours with brakes, exhaust (probably cat back to start) and CAI.
There is so many posts on which CAI to go with though - its gonna take me a year to decide which one now!
Hope your still havin fun with the car - I know I am!
