Here is a simple mod I performed on my car on the front bar air intake

This is a daytime shot

Maybe a view from a bit further back! all I see is an SS badge on some mesh...

Pretty much the wrong forum (My Ride). Not a fan of logos on the mesh personally.

Yeah I'll take some more VZ, I just wanted to see if I could put these images in for now. Have got some more shots coming now I've worked out how :)

You've lost me then diabolic .... I thought this would be the place since it is on "my ride" and it is a mod/project ???? As it is not photographed in stages it really doesn't suit the DIY forum. Perhaps I'm better off keeping things like this to myself if no one is interested in different ideas :(

Settle petal, what he means is most people create one thread all about their RIDE in this section not just a post about a random mod.

I also would like to see what you have done. :goodjob:

Sorry mate, wasn't meaning to have a go at ya.

As TR33VV said, this forum is basically for posting pics of your car and a list of specs/mods, eg. "My Cosmo VYII SS" or similar.

Single mods such as this usually get posted in The Tar Pit or General Automotive, etc.

Everyone here is open and interested in other mods and new ideas, definitely don't stop posting :)

Yes well I do apologise profusely for my somewhat irrational reaction. Put it down to frustration of not getting pics up :hide:

Here are some more photos of the mod and others ....

They work well with good pads.

Hi mate, yeah they did and I'll sum up what I think about them.

I had to get new discs as the originals had been machined twice and are rubbish anyway really. Decided on the DBA Gold F & R and am running Ferodo excell pads. There are several advantages to these. Improved looks, better heat/gas dissipation and wet weather performance. They are a bit noisier than unslotted/drilled discs as there are no holes or grooves to make noise when the pad travels over them.

I've been using ferodo excell pads for years and they are an excellent pad. Used in conjunction with these discs I would rate the improvement about 30% over the standard set up. They work well cold but only get better with heat and will NOT fade with sensible use. All up not bad for around $500
