View Full Version : HSV Extractors?
Hi , i have a question please.I can pick up some HSV extractors for my VT SS which has the sports sytem 2.5 and Ballistic hi flow cats fitted .Would these go well with this set up or could i lose power down low? I do not know the size of the primaries yet as i am waiting on a reply. thanks all Harry.

unless you can pick them up for next to nothing and get them installed for the same its not really worth it
you can pick up after market heads cheap these days
They are going for $300.00 . Don't know how much to fit yet as cannot get in touch with the guy at the exhaust shop.

I got my 4 into 1's for $250

It may be worth it if they're good nick VYII HSV extractors as they are pretty good. Anything other than VYII is apparently a waste of money unless as GMMAD says you get them supplied and fitted for free, or close to it.

I've noticed a couple of threads on extractors from you Hman. There's heaps of info on any of the brands out there via a search in LS Powertrain.

I fitted some VX clubby headers to mine, mainly just for better looks to be honest (i painted them before hand). Had the stock cats changed at the same time and it made the exhaust note a bit deeper. only paid $150 for mine from memory. wouldnt pay any more than that unless theyre VY 2 HSV headers.
