Turbo'd Harley Davidson

g'day all.

This is my olds man Harley Davidson limited edition V-rod. He bought it off his mate who works at a custom bike shop. It has a Trask Turbo kit, and the turbo itself is a Garrett item. She pushes 167rwhp, which is insane for a bike!! I have been on the back of this thing at full boost...scary, scary stuff.

Currently the boost is set at standard 8psi, and with some built internals, that number could be bumped up. You will also notice the front-mounted intercooler behind the front wheel in the magazine spread, how cool is that!

the bike just recieved a full feature in the latest Oz Biker Nation magazine, so pick up a copy if you wanna read a bit about it.

Love my harleys, and 2 of the blokes I ride with have Vrods so they would love this write up (one of them has owned blown and turbo'd harleys before)

that is one bitchin bike Im off to buy the mag & have a read.
my heritage goes in next month for a cam & tune upgrade but it wont be as scary as your old boys.

My God you wouldnt want to up the boost would you? I reckon this would be one scary ride at wot! Just with the thought that Harleys have little in the handling and braking department and all that torque and power is enough to raise the hairs in my neck just thinking about it.
