how to be able to post attachments?

how do i get access to be able to post attachments with my posts?

there is no such "access"

posts that you see with images imbedded, are just links to the image

the actual image is hosted elsewhere on the internet

so to link to a picture do i jsut use an [ img ] url [ /img ] tag?(without spaces)

Thats correct.

There is some limited hosting available.
