Picked myself up a brand new 2009 LS3 HSV GTS, 6 Speed Manual (TR6060).

Build Date: 16/07/09.
Build No: 978

Wow! What a car. It's awesome to be back in a V8, and boy does it go! So far loving every bit of it! Just can't get enough of it yet, lol.

i got a Black VT II R8 and a white VY clubby, when these come down a little i think the Vy's getting traded in!

very nice car, enjoy it!.....and try to keep the paint markless, lol, mine had a fresh black paint job done 3 months ago and it sits in garage and only really goes to work under the carport and still gets so many marks and it doesnt even get touched!.......im clueless!

Thanks for the kind words all! Still can't get rid of this big smile except for the brief moment after Geelong fluked a win against us yesterday! :vpo:

In terms of mods, the car doesn't really need much. The car is a pretty epic package as is. I think it will be a while yet before the performance bug hits me, it's got a huge amount of power!

Having said that. Mods in the short term might include walkinshaw suspension, wing removal and even tho the exhaust still sounds decent for a stocker, probably an upgrade to that mainly because the HSV tips are not very attractive to say the least and it doesn't hurt to have a bit more beef to the sound.

In the long term, quite possibly an audio upgrade. I don't have any plans for go fast bits just yet but will way up options when I get bored.

Any Dyno days coming soon? I'd be interested to see what this pulls stock.
