can anyone kinda help me post up some pic of me ute, having a bit or trouble trying to figure out how to post them up on here

well i figured it out.. here is a few pics of me ute.. only mods i have done so far is lowered it on pedders coil over springs and full exhaust system, front grill and the rear badge for now..

Nice ute mate love the black colour especially when its clean, i like how it sits wish i could have mine that low but i see speedbumps on a daily basis so it'll be a little impractical for daily use at that height:bawl: What type of exhaust are you running?

There is like reali small res's at the back but they don't do to much.. and it don't crakel to much..

taken her in on money to pedders to get her lowere even more with out the tool boxes in the bak so when i put them bak in she gonna riding way lower then, maybe a bit to low but ya get that.. hope to get the 20's soon. then just have to buy a otr and get her tuned

can anyone help me with a cam size.. i am goin to cam the the ute later on i need to decide on wat size cam i should get.. now i don't want a cam that is goin to be massive i want some thing that is goin to just give it that little bit of a lump sound nothing ova the top.. due to i drive it everyday for work..

the measurment before i lower it today from center or rim was roughly. 340 from memeroy at the bak and 360 and the front i think .. that was was round 100 mm all the way round.. but now she is lower again.. so yer..

so sry that i didn't get them for u ages ago forgot all about it.. hadn't been on here much till latly.. been busy..

Ordered the wheels this moring should be here friday if all goes well.. will post up the pictures when they are on so probly be on the weekend.. still need help with cam sizes since i have neva done any work to a are engin before. this will be my first car that gonna hve a little work done to it.. cheers

umm not sure i can give u the new measurements.. i had it lowered again yesterday.. sits lower.. i forgot to measure before i had it lowered yesterday abut it was round the same heigh as etheo9's. the new measurements for the back are 320. and my exhause sits lower then 100mm theres a few pics.. of it sitin 320 from centre of rim roughly. from bottom of rim its 580. at the back

These utes look great with the front Chev grilles, but the ones on the back look plain tacky. As for the sticker on the rear window, well, that is way over the top. Very teenagerish, if thats a word.

Apart from that it looks great. That underneath shot looks cool. Nice and low.

umm it was nearly the same high as before, i had it lowered 2 days ago wich is the photos that u asked about. they were taken 2 days ago.. but in saying that i have been drivin the ute for round a year now and have had no problems with cops. Its a daily driver, its my work ute i drive it to work everyday. I am a carpenter.. hope that helps ya there mate. cheers

she just fits in nicely.. it may scub a little if ur tryin to go into steap drive ways and stuff but drivin round and that i have not had it scrub yet.. so yer i guess there is plenty of room till she hits..

haha yes well from wat i know when i got mine i was goin to do the same thing as most people and put in sssl king springs but then i seen my mates dads ute..and was like wtf is still sits high as.. due to the independed rear end. So i decided that it was worth spending the money to put in coil overs all round. I am glad i choose to put coilovers, i am more then happy with them.. They are the pedders coilovers to.. so cheers for the comment..

hey mate they set me back about 2 g which i thought was a prity good.. and i am more then happy with the coilovers from pedders. they ride great and are worth spending the $$..

got the cam install last friday and got it tuned. but had a little probelm due to i had standard cats.. but booked it in today got high flow cats install then went back and got it tuned again.. i am quite happy with the results.. made 401 hp at the wheels..

The first dyno sheet is the one after i had the cam installed with standard cats.. and the sceond one is after i had high flow cats install and went bak for a retune..

Ive got the same cam in my sedan mate and it made 310rwkw's with my old twin 2.5" x-force catback, crappy cats/pipework and 1 3/4" pacies, so your figure probably is a little low but tough to tell on different dynos too.
I need to get mine retuned to suit the new twin 3" and new cats. Will let ya know the figure once Ive had that done shortly.

oh nice.. where u get your work done.. wat size wheels did u have on it when it went for the dyno run.. i was running 20's.. yer i only got a mild steel exhaust from the cats back.. 4 into 1 pacy's shortys.. and yer i got high flow cats..

Well more work is goin to be done on the ute soon.. gettin a true track centre and 3.9 diff gears put in it.. then from the diff shop over to Power torque for new cluch and to get the heads done..Can't wait..

Car looks fantastic.

I'm not fully convinced on chevy badges on Holdens. But if you like it, each to their own.

But doesn't take away the beauty of this machine.

Good stuff buddy! Dont know that you'll see much difference, if at all on the dyno with the diff gear change. Will probably be more seat-of-the-pants feel.

ok home after being down brisbane for a week while the ute was in getting some more work done.. While it was in at Power Torque it had the cyclinder heads ported, new Clutch fitted.. and also ha 3.9 diff gears and a tru-trac centre install as well.. Before getting this mods done the ute was making 298kw at the wheels.. now after all the new mods the ute is making 326kw at the wheels ans 769N.M.. I will post up the dyno sheet some time tomorrow as its to late tonite..

Just like to thank all the guys at PowerTorque for doin a great job.. :goodjob: i am more then happy with the ute now..

Great power mate!! Some nice returns there. I know it might of been hard to tell as you got other mods completed at the same time, but do you think the diff gear ratio is well suited and livened it up?

thanks matee. Well all to there own really i think the diff gear ratio is fine.. it gave it more pick up which i noticed a bit.
