Hi,

Was just wondering if Pedders offered any solution to axle tramp in a VYII SS Sedan.

Is it just a matter of trying new diff bushings?

Can I also grab a rough price on getting this done.

Cheers

grab yourself a harrop diff cover and the bush kit should help reduce tramp

Hi,
Sorry for the late post.

I would suggest that as well as the diff mount you have a look at fitting our urethane inserts into your cradle bushes as these have been shown to significantly reduce axle tramp and give a better feel to the rear end. If it is a significant problem you can also fit the Pedders P/No EP1168 bushes (must only be fitted in conjunction with our cradle bush inserts) which provide even more axle tramp reduction to the car.

As there are several Pedders stores within your vicinity, I suggest that you contact one of them for your prices as anything costings I provide would be a guide only and you would need to confirm pricing with a store anyway.

This will also give the staff at the store an opportunity to gain an insight into your axle tramp issue and provide you with an cost estimate of the products they feel best suits your needs.

Axle tramp can be very hard to get rid off totally. You will however reduce it with different products as mentioned above.
