Can someone please tell me what they are?
The dealer mentioned something about a 10k service? What is the next one?

Thanks!

I would say the service is every 10k. At least that is what is listed in my log book.

The first one is at 3,000km, however it does not involve an oil etc change.
The second service is at 15,000km which does involve oil and filter changes.
From here scheduled services are every 7,500km but oil and filter changes are only every 15,000km. They check other fluid levels and for deterioration of components etc at every service.
This is from my VE HSV manual/log book thingy.
HTH :)

Yep +1 agree...

The service interval for VE HSV's was every 15,000km (after the 3,000km inspection) or time which ever came first. Recently HSV (this year I think) sent out a notice to HSV dealers that they recomend the HSVs be serviced every 7,500km as stated by steve_t. This according to sources was due to oil usage.

If the vehicle is out of manufactures warranty and you have the dealer extended warranty then this might be why they are stating the service is evey 10,000km as it is outlined in their warranty booklet.

The VE (E Series) HSV service intervals are 15,000klms.

The previous model HSV were 10,000klms.

Cheers John

Heya mustanger,
According to HSV dealer here in Canberra, HSV have revised their intervals to every 7,500km for LS3 equiped vehicles and LS2.

I'll see if I can get the tech notice.

I don't think she owned an HSV at the time of the initial post... but she's got one now :goodjob:
