Brock Memorial Cruise 12th September 2009

Well it’s coming up to that time of year again and thought maybe it’s time to start getting the Brock Memorial Cruise up and running...

Summary

Event Date: September 12th, 2009
Meet Time: 7am for a 7:30 departure
Meet Point: Harrigan Ford - Yallah
Destination: Bathurst

South Sydney Car Club are meeting at Harrigan Ford (Yallah) at 7am for a Departure time of 7.30am.
From here we will head up towards Penrith Panthers car park (Arriving around 9am) to meet any Sydney people.
Leaving there at 9.15-9.30 up towards the Blue Mountains (Bells Line of road if sunny) and stopping at Lithgow Macca’s for lunch and to fill up if need to...
After that we will head towards the almighty Mountain that we all love so much....Mt. Panorama. We will stop under the first little bridge just before the straight to get some pic’s and then try to line all the cars on the start line for some more pic’s. From there we can do a few laps with someone at the top of Brock Skyline taking Photo’s and Vid, then parking all the cars up the top so we can all walk his wall and to sign it as well.
If people want we can walk and have a look in the National Motor Racing Museum we can do so.
From there head back towards the town and maybe get a coffee or something before heading back home.

It would be nice if all the cars would have Brocky 05 number on the front screen like what's on my car to show the respected for that great man...

You don't need to be part of any club, just a member of www.LS1.com.au and a Brock Fan - but if you want to, feel free to sign up to www.southsydneycarclub.com.au (we are all about cruises all over the place).

Mick you can never be on enough car forums. I am a member of 5 I think. Was the last time I counted anyway. Look as long as you like cruising and meeting new people all will be good.

Guys that is great thankyou for the invite. Can you clear up some confusion for me, if you register to a forum means you are in the car club or as I thought you sign up pay an annual fee and sign an agreement of membership.

South Sydney Car Club which is the one i'am in is classed as a car club for our members but normally you have to pay with others.... But once you find the one you like you normally say with them...

Its hard to commit to a club due to my location, I am up near Taree(mid north coast) and I dont know of any clubs in my area, In saying that I am eager for the Brock memorial cruise and other such events, and would love to travell in a club.

Look we are always out playing ( every weekend ) but look out for Ricecooker cause he lives on the central coast and cruises a lot as well... You might be able to hook-up with him...

End of the day is that on Sept 12, the Annual Brock Cruise to Bathurst is happening, and will encompass many different car clubs in the state. Why doesn't your club join in on the same day?
