I have only had this a month now and love it, I went from a VX II S pack on my P's to this beast. I picked it up for a bargin $27k with only 72k on the clock, factory sun roof, R8 dials and short shifter, upgraded alarm system, tint, remus 2.5 inch exhaust, HM 4-1 headers, high flow cats and SS induction CAI. I had a MAF tune done afew weeks ago and went from 235RWKW to 275.5RWKW :D. Apart from the MAF tune i have also painted the body kit black and got personalised plates.

Future mods consists of: Tinted Calais tail lights, King spring SL all round, Shocks, Rims, Sound system, Red leather interior, Bigger/Dual exhaust out the back, OTRCAI (Maybe), Ripshift or B&M shifter, Head and cam package or if I can afford it GenTT twin turbo kit :D.

very nice mate, love the sting red over the ford reds except mayeb a Seduce G6Et..

40rwkw is a great gain as well from just a tune - im assuming beforehand with all the other mods it was running the stock tune???

Nice car. The VZ Clubbys were definently the pick of the bunch. Though this has me a little confused though...

remus 2.5 inch exhaust, HM 4-1 headers, high flow cats and SS induction CAI. I had a MAF tune done afew weeks ago and went from 235RWKW to 275.5RWKW
Is this cammed because if it is it ain't in your original post. 275rwkw from just those mods? Who is your tuner because im sure alot of people on here would love those sorts of numbers from those mods!

My VZ HSV pulled 275rwkw maf tuned at a dyno day on a DD dyno 2 years ago BEFORE the cam went in. I think if you do a search you'll find one sponsor here who was quoting 290 - 300rwkw ('05 - '06) intake exhaust and tune, now I think that could be slightly out of reach for the ls2.

By the way nice car mate.

nar mate not cammed, i took it down to CV Perfomance and they got 40RWKW so i was happy. does anyone know if you can get a MAF OTR?? cause im thinking of getting one cause iv hear the SS induction i have atm isnt very good but would it be worth spending the few hundred extra dollars? would i get much more power?

hey just wondering does anyone know whats the smallest sized rims i can put on my car? cause i have my stock VX 17" rims from my old car and want to put slicks on them but not sure if they will fit? also if you know anyone who sells or is selling some decent second hand slicks let me know, any help would be appreciated thanks.

GM motorsport are supposed to be bringing out a new OTR soon that can be used both with maf and mafless.
With your wheels, if you already have your old ones why don't you just fit one up, if it clears your brakes then you are fine, you only need about 5mm clearence all around.
The stock clubby brakes are 330/315 discs with 2 spot calipers and 17"s should fit fine, even some 16's do fit but are very close.

17's shouldn't be an issue a 17 inch holden wheel fits over the 332mm disc on 4 piston AP on the back of my VZ clubby.

Can't remember your mods but I did a 13.1 in stock trim with tune and shorty extractors with stock exhaust, Just be prepared to let your rear tyres down to about 18 - 20 psi and easy the clutch out at about 1750rpm that's about the best to stop axle tramp and wheel spin. Don't bank on a 60ft time under 1.950 sec or similar.

Mind you it was my first time at the strip, just don't slip the clutch of the line they don't like it.

i have also bought some VE GTS seat foam and will put them on my existing rails and when i get the cash will re upholster them along with the rest of my interior so they hopefully look like this.

also been looking at some rims and decided on something black with some sort of chrome i was thinking the PDW VEGA or the HSV Pentagon rims, what do you guys think? if you have any suggestions or pics of rims which you think would suit my car let me know, thanks.

its almost embarrassing to say haha it was 13.9 @ 106mph, i just couldnt stick the start i would either give it to much and wheel spin or not enough but yer it was my first time so now i know what to expect i should go alot better next time.

Bought them from Holden for $340 and they were just a straight plug in no mods needed.

Yer I'm torn between going the hsv rims to keep it original or going the pdw to make it stand out but I don't want anything over the top just something to set it off then I will be happy with the exterior then move onto the interior haha decisions decisions.

been ages since i have really had anything to up date on but over chrissy i decided to spoil myself =D

Got the E2 pentagon replica rims in 20" from st george tyres for $1850, and yesterday saw greg at sureflo exhaust and he insalled the ballistic cats and 3.5" loud exhaust. This thing sounds amazing i love it.

Thinking of getting either a ziggy or DUS MAFLESS OTR then getting my tune edited. Still saving cash to get my VE GTS seats installed and the whole interior reupholstered in black and red leather.

Also entered myself and a mates BF MkII GT in a dyno day at castle hill exhaust on the 31st January.

Will wash the car this weekend and post up some new pics and video of the new exhaust =D

cheers,

Also my old twin 2.5" remus exhaust will be up for sale once i go back to sureflo and pick it up hopfully next weekend.

Exhaust: Twin 2.5" exhaust with twin stainless steel 3" tips and internal baffles built into rear muffler section for adjustability of exhaust sound.

mate that's a rip off go on carsales.com and look on there most clubbys are going for mid to low $30's at the moment so I'm sure you will find something. Buy a VZ mate it will be money well spent and you will have the time of your life haha.
