Allow Rim Widening ??

Does anybody know if there is a wheel specialist that can add an inch or two into the width of alloy wheels like the stock VE SSV rims ?? W.A. would be perfect however I don't mind freighting to a forum recommended repairer.

Give the search button a try mate, there was a thread on this not long ago. It also had some links to quite a few other threads about the same thing. I think you will find that it is not advisable to widen rims for general driving. Seedy has a set, and I believe that he was recommended to only use them for drag racing as they would be unsafe for cornering at speed, etc.

Ok I've had a look at these threads and yes safety seems an issue. Does anyone know who supplies GMH with these rims then, maybe there could be an option there ?? A lead to a contact would be excellent thanks guys.:idea:

The rims are imported, and simply made off CAD drawings Holden owns and provides to the manufacturer.
