Think i'll keep it standard up front, i like the SV8 look no one really notice's them.

Future is get front windows tinted again (see pic above) stupid rego laws in SA, put her on a dyno and maybe some headers to match cats and system.

Always liked the sleeper look of the SV8 Wonky, this is last of VY's aug 04

Took the car to Willall(LS1 edit) today to get speedo corrected to suit the 3.9 gears, the mafless tune in it from darwin was locked so Tuna flashed in a new tune for me.

Best bit is car runs better used to cough and fart a bit when cold now runs sweet and just a bit more power in her.

Spent the last 2 days on installing the cam, really enjoyed it and would recommened to any one half decent with a spanner. Took my time and doulble checked everthing just to make sure all good, hardest bit was getting old leads off:rofl:(just didn't want to come off F@#KED 4 of them:vpo:) changing springs with speed inc tool was a breeze collets a little fiddly with big fingers.

Started the car and was a little worried when one lifter was rattling after 3mins but came good, even idles(just). Normal smoke from oil etc check for leaks etc let it warm up and cool down, all good took so went for small drive(not over 2500rpm) and car runs well no surging etc i'm amazed. Change of oil/filter tomorrow and hopefully a tune by end of the week.

Crappy vid of idle(camera) never sounds as good Grrrr

Update on the cam install, really happy with my choice of cam alot would say this is too big a cam etc but she drives so nice(3.9's help heaps), nice idle and smooth through the rev range with a nice top end rush, Fuel economy is at 18L atm can't help myself. Only problem has been noise from pulley/belt from the underdrive setup, only when the car is cold quite annoying but goes away after 5>10mins driving. Took the belt of yesterday and checked pulleys all seemed good put belt on and started car no noise so hopefully gone:)

Bought a Mothers claybar Kit and gave the old girl a clean up, paint work on car isn't the best scratchs and birdpoo stains from darwin plus i worked at a chemical plant which ment it got cover in lime dust alot. Clay bar works a treat paint is so smooth and polished up well recommend to all.

Black cars are so much harder to maintain but the results are well the effort after a claybar/polish and you've done a great job with the paint work on your ride Paul. And after a that result with the cam install some vids would be good :)
