I have a ve ss ute which is about 5weeks old,noticed on the tail gate on the left hand side ssv but have noticed on other utes ve on the left and ss on the right are they in fact different models?

If your ute is an SS it won't have SSV on it.. Also I've never seen a car with a "VE" badge..

my ute is a july 2008 build and has ss on the right and the v badge on the left, i think and i may be wrong but the badging changed just after the afm motors were released, im guessing yours been 5 weeks old has the afm on it correct?

What you have is a SSV badge yes?
There is a thread circulating that shows there is a new badge as I guess you have.
The old SSVs, like mine had a SS on side then a V on the other.
The new ones instead have SSV on the one badge. Its the same model but yours is newer :)
Anyway pull em all off cause 90% of badges are a waste of clean metal!!!

Seems we have cleared this up.and 6litre man its manual and I love it,Thanks again everybody.

I believe the MY9.5 SSV has the SSV badge on the left hand side and will have the AFM badge on the right hand side. The MY9.0 SSV has the SS badge on the right hand side and a little red and chrome v badge on the left. The incorporated SS and the V badge was introduced on the MY9.5.
