Hi all.
Been reading the forum for a while and thought it was about time i joined. Just traded in the 07 SS Thunder over the weekend on a new 09 Black Maloo M6. Should be picking it up mid week.
Am after some advice on the x-pack paint & leather protection. My opinion is that its a wank but curious to see what others think. Also the are try to sell me window tint but am not sure about the whole black on black.
Any opinions??

Cheers

: :teach: What he said, best advice you'll get...but unfortunately one QLD HSV Dealership took my request for NO tint the wrong way, they went ahead and did it anyway with accompanying $395 bill......bad move from said HSV dealeship…..very same window tinter quoted me $175.00 for the exact same job...money pending from Dealership ...bit like the liberty taken on full comp insurance....Have just discovered I was running around in 80K plus of new PT enhanced Maloo ute for a full month totally uninsured :flipoff:

I only envy you cause i couldnt afford the maloo lol, good luck with the car, cant wait to see pics wen you get it

If you do a couple of seaches on paint protection I think you will find the general consensis is that the paint protection that dealers provide is Crap!

I think if you contact "CARECARE Product" (forum sponsor) you will get some great advice.

Very exciting, make sure we get some pics!

Thanks for the response guys.
Feel confident in telling them to stick the paint protection now. Might see what price they can do on the leather protection. Has anyone had dramas with this product. ie changes in leather appearance.
Also anything i should be checking when picking up the car
