How many LS-series engines sold in Australia?

I'm trying to put together some sales stats on the number of LS-series engines sold in Australia. Any leads would be much appreciated. I had thought that in this day of Google information like that would be easy to find, but so far I've come up short.

I reckon it would be pretty hard to find those figures documented anywhere. I think only Holden would know the answer to that.

It would seem so. Looks like I'll have to go back to my Toyota contacts and see if they have any stats - a long shot but the only lead I've got at the moment.

so are you after how many cars are sold from new with an LS based engine?
or how many aftermarket crates have been sold?

as the information on both will come from different sources, but they are available

Just knowing how many LS powered vehicles have been sold in Australia would be great. The number of crate motors sold would be a bonus!

I think the question you are asking is way too general.:confused:

GM would be lucky to know how many of each series LS Motor have been produced.
