What would you do? VZ senator/calais/vy11 calais

Hi all..... thought i would ask your opinion as to what i should do with my cars...

I currently have a VY11 calais with head/cam, built auto, 19s, lowered, diff, otr, leather, sunroof etc - nice looking and sounding car making 300rwkw....

I also have a vx (v6) calais i use as a daily for my job. I want to update either this or all.

Option 1. Sell the v8, and sell the VX and buy a VZ senator with lowish Kms and keep it stock as it will be used every day

Option 2. Sell the v6 only, keep the VY V8 and buy a VZ V6 calais with leather and roof?

I have a budget of about 20k on top of my 2 cars......

I figure the VX is worth 8-9 if sold private, the VY low 20s as it is immaculate

I have always justified the VX as the difference in petrol more than paid for the second rego and insurance....... but if i go to a stock VZ senator i am guessing my fuel economy will improve dramatically over the VY

Id rather drive around all day in a nice car all the time than have it sitting in the garage for sundays only.

yer id say senator but your gonna have to be diligant to keep it to mild mods and not let it run out of ocntrol as your VY has.

well after the discussion in the car on our way home last night, i still say keep the VY cause i know you wouldnt be too impressed being hosed all the time in the stock senator. and in the end, you will end up having to mod it... lol

hey mate i was in the same situation a few weeks ago , i decided to keep my ss , and i ended up buying a 99 ford ute for my run around car ,the money you spent on it you will never get back! do you really want to take a senator to the shops/clubs/work ect ect , AND would you really leave it stock?? you'll start of with "just" and exhaust , then "just" a tune , then "just" a small cam ect then you'll be back to square one and even more out of pocket..

I would sell the V6 and keep the VY V8. VZ Calais are awesome!!! The VY sounds like a great car and I think it would be a shame to let it go and only have a stock Senator...Having 2 cars is nice too, you can choose a car to take out according to your mood!
