You're right, there's a lot of difference between those two cars..more than $10K I'd say. And yes, one seller really is dreaming, but the V8 could be reasonable value.
Some of these "dreamers" just don't want to listen, so the only way they can be bought back to reality is just to let them advertise their cars for a totally unrealistic price........No interest will bring them back to reality.
In addition, yes, it is fair to say that "Brocky prices are all over the place"...and there is a reason for that. Some of these cars are VERY special....limited build, or highly optioned, or super low K mint original etc....these cars will attract good dollars, but the average run of the mill car, of the same base model & year, may not attract even half the price.
Same with a lot of "collector cars" I suppose.
Cheers, Pickles.

The Bathurst's are very rare.. But Seems a little exxy.. Id say a HDT Sport would be worth more in the future specially a Turbo Model as there quite rare and have a cult following.. not to mention they can be picked up for a great price. Also even though its not a HDT if i was spending 50k on something like that id spend a tad more and buy a VN GPA.
My 2cents.

To me buying a Brocky would be all about originality. Yes you can add "aftermarket" touches but need to keep the theme alive.
The first one has common rims, subwoofer stereo, steering wheel, sheepskin seat covers. Its not even turbo:confused:
Anyway I like car 2 :goodjob: especially in comparison to 1:vpo:

the second car is great value imho
a year ago my little brother was offered 80k for his VL GRP A and knocked it back
as he told the guy he didn`t really buy it for the money but because he loves the look of them
i still reckon he got his at the right time as he only picked it up about 3 months before Brockie was killed
