I'm looking into forming a NFP car club and leaseing on old factory block to host defencive driving, hire diy workshop with help hire and a youth/student mentoring program to help fund it. After hours hosting "show an shines" small skidpan, indoor burnouts and carwash cafe. I know i have to jump thru major hoops like police,local prob state counsil, insurance, cams, lawyers, real estate. Can anyone shed some more light on this topic for me at all?

I can not help with legals etc but I hope you get it going sounds like a top idea to help young people, congratulations for having a go.

From what you want to do, the insurance part will be hard to get.
Also, speak to Worksafe as well about the safety aspects of your project.
