Hey Everyone

Iam looking at getting a LPG Conversion on my vehicle, but i just dont know all the in's and out's of LPG Conversions!

I know theres different types of LPG Conversions, but which is the best? Or is there a newer Conversion type avaliable?

*Sequential Gas Injection System
*Multi Point Gas Injection System
*Induction Gas System

I also know theres different types of LPG Conversion setups, but which works best?

*Stand alone LPG Conversion (Petrol tank is removed)
*Duel fuel LPG Conversion (Petrol tank remains)

General Questions
*What pricing can i except for a LPG Conversion? (i've been quoted between $3500 to $4000 before government subsidy)
*What is the usual duuration i can except for a LPG Conversion to take? (some say 2 days and others 5 days)
*I currently get 500-550kms per tank ($70-$75 to fill), what can i except for similar sized LPG tank for KMS & COST?
*Is there a performance decrease, if so how much? Does it effect REVS? Does it effect TOP END? Does it effect ENGINE RESPONSE in acceleration?
*Is it recommended to RE-TUNE the ecu after a LPG Conversion so the fuel delivery system works at optimal?

Does anyone have any suggestions, i'd like to hear them.

My Vehicle Details
Holden Commodore VX II SS
5.7L
Manual

If anything else is needed, just let me know

Thanks Everyone

the best one to get would be liquid injection
which is around $5200 mark
which is a dual fuel setup
it will start up on petrol then switch to gas after a few minutes

or the next best one would be vapour injection
which is around $4200

If you have a spare month, read through the following thread:

Thanks guys

This has really helped, i am going to contact a installer and organise a conversion.

If anyone has had this installed, i'd be interested in what results they get in KMS and cost to fill a tank.

If theres more i should know, just let me know:goodjob:
