Hi all,
I currently have 1 5/8 try ys on my calais - and because it is lowered cant get 4 into 1s on it - i scrape speedhumps as it is....
I have a decent cam in my car (224/228 with 639 lift), and am about to put a 3500 stall in, so figured bigger primaries would help it breath better in that 3500 plus rev range....
Does anyone make them in this size, or is 1 3/4 as big as i will find?
Has anyone gone from 1 5/8 to 1 3/4 and noticed much of a difference?

Sorry for going off topic but why is one side split compared to the other? Are all Tri Y headers for our cars like this?

Strange design with only 1 7/8" secondaries.
Genie 323SS is 1 5/8" primaries into 2" secondaries.

The best cats to use with the HM117SS headers would be our OUT276 cats.
They are 200 CPI Metal Substrate Euro 3 spec. Universal, so you will need to weld them in.
$290 each including GST.
The HM718's will also fit, but they are 2 1/2 Inlet / Outlets and Ceramic Internals.
$905 for the pair including GST.

G'day Cameron.
I've got the HM8CHSS's on a reasonably mild V6. Don't get me wrong though, they've been okay and I'm not complaining but yeah, press bent primaries...

Maybe try www.advanceheaders.com.au they are in SA and only make try Y design headers, had a set on my VS statesman years ago and are a quality product with good results, think they have done a 1 7/8th but could be wrong
