Hi all - was wondering if any has had or knew of a simialr problem. I am the proud owner of a 2004 VYII adentra LX8 (57,000 km on the clock) Have had it since March ish. In about the start of June, the engine warning light came on and subsquently the temperature gauge rose rapidly and then back to normal. Checked out at Ultratune (by 3rd party auot elec with tech 2) & told no problems, cleared. A few weeks later, same thing happened. This time went to Holden and they checked with Tech 2, cleared, no problems. Yesterday, SRS airbag warning light comes on along with low fuel warning (gauge on empty), yet I filled her up a few days before and to be safe topped it up again today - gauge still on empty.
Does anyone know of any faults with the VYII series computer management systems or do I just need to find gizmo to weed out the gremlins?

I will stick my neck out a little here and suggest alternator may be failing.

These strange occurences seem to precede the purchase of a new alternator.

This is a common VZ problem and is usually the radiator cap.
