From what I can tell it's edited with motion blur and brush strokes, definitely not good options in making a photo look better
Looks like trying to see after a night on the bourbons :eyes:
So, I took a shot too..

The crapness comes not from the focus or anything like that, but the setting. Was just trying a few arty type things in the chop in order to highlight the car without completely removing the background - which would screw with the reflections on the paintwork. The fence reflection annoyed me though.
Lots more than just motion blur in there ;)
Actually that's not a bad start 'october...

Not a bad start? :p Not sure where I could go from here that wouldn't detract from the photo :)
Personally, I'm not one for the filter effects, but thanks :D

There are a few ways. I use GIMP (lol!) on a Linux system. I'd probably create a new layer, select a large ellipse area with lots of feathering and then invert the selection. You can then fill the selected area with black. Then alter layer opacity to suit. Layers. Pure win.

Filter > Distort > Lens Correction
Under Vignette, adjust the amount to darken (all the way to the left), and then adjust the midpoint.
Done properly without tackiness.

Keep using tunnel-vision that well 'red and in no time you'll have a job on Top Gear Australia.
