hey guys,
this is my first time on here,
been readin bulk post's about peoples cars but only recently subscribed =)
anyway I just picked up my 2001 WH Statesman International.
Colour: Raven Blue
Accessories: Sunroof, 10 stacker CD, Leathers, Climate Control Air, etc
Engine: 5.7L V8 N/A
Price: $15, 000
Mods: Just cat backs atm
Future Mods: OTR, 80mm or 90mm throttle body, extractors, possible cam.
Plans: Wheels, Lowering more, Sound System, Grille change, etc.
Pics will be up soon, took her for a clean today..
Anyways was wondering if anyone knows where i could get a WH Grange Grille?
And she needs a good cut n polish so if anyone could hit us up with some numbers of good but not over the top expensive detailers that could get out a few minor scratches that would be great =)
also would appreciate input on what people think about 20" BBOSS Eleanors on the internationals?
thnx in advance ppls...
here's the pics i took before..
just had a clean n rub down with california gold clay [tip i got on here]..
let us know what you guys think..

Beautiful example of an International mate :goodjob:
From experience, they are a bastard to keep clean... :bawl:
I run VE SS-V Veloce rims on mine and I think they look pretty good, I think your suggested style will look just fine ;)
I look forward to seeing your mods progress, welcome to the forums! :D
Cheers, Mick

hey guys soz been a while since I've posted..
been hectic with work..
okay so today i'm getting the sound system put in (photo's will be up within few days)..
after lots of research i decided to go with the following:
hertz ESK 6" splits in front
hertz ECX 6" coax in the back
generic brand head unit i got for a bargain (Y)
alpine mrp f600 4channel amp (powering speakers)
alpine mrp m1000 mono block amp (powering subs)
2x hertz HX300 12" subs (box included)
full sound deadening for both front and back doors, boot lid and back shelf...
i originally was going to go with the Hertz H series (ie; herts HSK) but they were not being released from italy on time and shipping was being a nightmare so i went with the E series as they were in stock at WESTSIDE CAR AUDIO..
still majorly stoked with the system and possibly change over to H series at a later date if i feel for it..
also im debating on whether to put 6x9's in the back shelf (within the month) but think it might be over the top?
sitting on the fence about that one..
the wheels i've been looking for i got a fairly good price on,
$1600.00 for 20" BBOSS Eleanors (without tires)
too high still or just right?
anyways pics of system should be up soon so ill comment more then.
thnx,
bryan
P.S cruise for charity this sunday (sep 20th), $35 and it goes towards a good cause..
hope to see people there.
okay so here's some picks of the boys putting it all together..
still not completely done (steering wheel controls, bit more clipping and trimming to be done) but will get some more pics up soon...

back seats out running cables..
i would like to give a massive thanks to the boys at WESTSIDE SOUND AND IMAGE in morley for their help and great advice with the system..
top blokes.
anyways that's it till its tuned properly and steering wheel controls are done, will have some more pics up soon.
thnx,
bryan

Nice Statesman.
I have a WH statesman 01 with some engine mods.
I'm at 260rwkw and 906nm with just a few mods;
Cam
Extractors
100mm Throttle body
Big mouth cold air intake
Stage 2 shift kit
Twin 2 1/2" exhaust
Headwork
And booked in for a hi-flow race manifold which will top it off with another 15-20rwkw (Intake - 100mm throttle to a stock manifold :S)
You won't get a roadworthy with 20's, I may be wrong though. You won't be able to lower it if you want 20's anyway, I'm on super lows and have CV8Z Monaro 18's and I'm nearly on the guard.
I'll PM you once I've got some pics, I'd be interested to hear the cost of the speaker setup, can't stand the stock..
Nice car though mate, be in touch.

hey bud, nice stato. my daily driver is a 99 wh. ive got lovells superlow springs, matched shocks and struts, with 20 inch advanti sabotage chromies on it. sits frikkin low, looks awesome, and my gaurds arent even rolled. i think it sits about 50mm lower than standard. speedbumps are a hazard. too stop the front from scrubbing, mine has 30 series front tyres, with 35 series on the back. makes the rears look fatter too :) will try post some pics or a link to the car laters
