VE SS Noisy alternator ?

When my lights come on automatically my belt makes a slight noise like the belt is slipping been to Holden twice said they adjusted a pulley took it back and then they said when the alternator needs to draw more power i will get that noise not very loud but annoying wanted to know if anyone else has this problem hard to believe it should be noisy

It has been mentioned that it is linked to the alternator charge charateristics although I never hear it when the charge rate drops (from 14.4volts to 12 volts on the meter) and come back up (to 14.4volts) while driving...
