vy foglights on a vz

Hey all.

does anyone know if aftermarket VY SS foggies will fit a VZ S front bar?


there are some on Ebay at the moment with a bracket that looks like it would fit but i'm unsure and would like to know before buying them.

i've already bought one set off ebay that i was told would fit with new brackets.
so i bought them and made a bracket but the actual lights were too deep and ended up sticking out the front of the bumper slightly.

There a different type of light, But i cant see why, if you had the brackets they wouldn't fit in there, Not sure if the plugs would match up though
I've got a set sitting right next to me if theres anyting on them you want to clear up?

how deep would they be?
where the lights go on the VZ there is a bolt hole on the bottom with 2 lugs either side of that and the top mounting is stepped up higher than the bottom by approx 10 or so mm's and has 2 holes.
if it is flat i should be able to pack it.

from the pictures i've seen of the VY lights it looks like the mounting plate is flat and bolts and the lugs might be the opposite way around.

i hope they would fit with little or no modifying as i can pick the VY lights up for $120 a pair.
the VZ lights seem to be a lot harder to get and Holden are the only place i've found where i can get them but they are almost $400 a pair.

if anyone knows where i could get aftermarket VZ foggies with the correct bracket .
please let me know
