engine idle prblems

hi all i am having problems with idle need help. sometimes will drop down and almost stall mostly does when cold but will also do when engine is warmed up.
ive been told it could be oxygen sensors? maybe spark plugs.

will having not enough back pressure in exhaust do this as the muffler packing is all gone blown out the back pipes.:bawl:

Could be a vacuum problem perhaps.

I wouldn't think O2 sensors would cause the car to stall, I didnt think they were even used at idle? I could be wrong though.

Could be a faulty IAC (Idle Air Control) motor on the throttle body.

sorry yeah they are the sensors i mean, it doesnt actually stall but goes close, runs fine at high revs but does have a strong fuel smell out of exhaust also has a flat spot between idle and 2000 rpm

i was having a similar issue with my ve ss till today. my issue was in the tune. wasnt the fuel table but something in the mixtures or something. anyways the tune fixed it.
