hey, sorry i dont know what it is actually called. but my mate was getting out of my car and he must have kicked the plastic on the drivers side where it controls the height of the chair etc and looks like he snapped the clip.
how much would it cost to replace and is it easy to do?
and for the moment what type of glue can i use (if i can) as a temp fix? just supa glue for plastics?

I'd call it a drivers' side lower seat trim panel (!)

This happened to a friend's VU, we removed the seat and actually drilled a new hole slightly inboard from the old one. it pulls it in 5mm tighter but doesn't make heaps of difference. The main culprit is the plastic tab underneath with a screw on the end, there is also a screw in a tunnel going sideways into the seat located a little way back from the height switches behind a bung, you will have snapped this too. I just ran a long black screw straight into the bung, then through into the seat. Haven't had trobule since!

I've broken mine twice, I'm a bit wide. Second time I thought I'm not going to spend the cash, so I drilled a small hole out of sight, down low, and cable tied it to the frame. Seems to be more flexible, and looks fine.

Exactly what i did in the old VT. Worked like a charm and saved me $48
