5" body should make for some nice scrapage.

do not know why?

do not know why?

They don't work because you're trying to link to a directory on your own home computer. You need to upload the images to a image host on the net. There is a full tutorial sticky on how to do this in the Help and Feedback section of the forums.

There We Go Sorry Guy's!

THEY WILL BE TUCKED UNDER VERY CAREFULLY.

the car is a weekender, won't see speed humps that often.

the price you pay for performance, scraps and bumps all apart of the game.

LOL

Dosen't say if the inner metal cores are welded in? I remeber some problems with people blowing the insides out on some of the cheaper brands..

yeah i heard the "metalcat" and the xforce cats had a tendency to blow their guts out after 6months or so. figured I'd ask about these ones were the same

Do they meet epa regs,
i heard or read somewhere that some
hi flow cats dont meet the epa's acceptable
emissions requirements

honestly I think any 100-200cpi hi flow metal cat will have problems meeting epa requirements if tested. I think that's a gamble anyone who gets them is willing to take. Im still leaning towards ballistics from sureflo but just thought to see if anyone has heard bout these.

I believe to be legal on late model cars they need to meet Euro IV specs and very few aftermarket cats do. It's just another of the chances we take when we mod our cars. At least we still run cats and don't remove or hollow them out! I and a number of others I know are using the Ballistics and haven't heard of a problem, whereas I've heard of a number of problems with Xforce cats for example.

I asked the seller the same question and he replied with this:

The metal core is welded to an inner sleeve which is then 1200degree stick welded to the body of the cat.
The Venom cats also feature a secondary outer casing that acts as a heatshield.
In terms of performance, Ive had one of these cats running on an xr6 turbo with 300rwkw for the past 6 months with no problems so far.
Also, all cats come with a 1 year warranty.

They seem to be pretty good...considering a pair of them myself.

I just bought a pair of these with 4inch body, 3inch in/out. Would
have gone bigger body, but my car is pretty low. $370 delivered
and have a 12 month warranty. It seems they are made here
in OZ as well, which is a good thing. Will report back on how
they go if anyone is interested?

Black346, they are working great, even under the heat of the turbos.

Handles 15psi, big hp without issue.

I would recommend these to anyone.

I have not seen any other match value for performance as yet.

MONEY WELL SPEND

cheers

qk57, when you fitted them, what did you come from (ie 200cpi?)

Did it change the loudness or the note?

Cheers

Got mine today, only ordered them last thursday. They certainly
look and feel the goods, quite heavy and solid, also very shiny,
a shame to put them under the car they look that nice.
Now to find the time to get them fitted.
