:train:

I have just gone and reversed the R8 into my old SS :flipoff:  yea yea that will teach me for yabbering on like a farken idiot and not concentrating.

As both cars are registered & insured under my name i cop double excess.... :flipoff: So am thinking there is a small possibility that having them both repaired without making a claim may 1. Work out cheaper and 2. Get me a decent repair.... maybe.

So can anyone give me some recommendations for repairers?

Place down the road from HPF whete i goty car done. Do all the repairs and warranty work for booran. Matched the atomic paint better than factory and were actually really pleasant to deal with.

Sorry forgot the name though.

Ahhh is that the one near the old Maxi servo???

That really sucks Kristie. I have done it before but fortunately for me the cars weren't anywhere near as nice.

As hard (and annoying) as it sounds, be patient with panel shop selection and don't be too hard on yourself.

Good luck!

Bernie Mack in Springvale. Did mine there (had about 3 friends do their cars too and always came out great...not sure if he's the cheapest though)

Here's mine before and after

I just had my Calais fixed by LP Body Works Lexton Rod Box Hill North, they were very good and really pushed for new panels across the whole front.
Worth a try.

Well apparently you and I are both wrong, as I thought the same thing.. two cars, one owner, two claims

Hi

Try Wilmott's in Frankston. They are in Tooyal Street Frankston. They do an awesome job, not the cheapest....but might be the best.

Does Porsche's, Merc's, BMW's, Hsv's etc.

Tell him Richard with the Grange sent you. He is the Roy/Satpro of panel beaters if that makes sense to you!

Richard

That really sucks, looks like the insurers win again. Bloody premium + excess = fair coin? + maybe increase of premiums next year...

Good luck with it.

Micolour in Cheltenham

They fixed up the missus WRX after a psycho hit her then rammed her (yep, she went back for a 2nd go!)... quality job. A few of the WRX club boys recommended them and they did not disappoint.

Thanks Fellas...

I went and visited a few today. I have decided on one in FTG (Knox Panels) as I have used them previously and know the owner (although its been a good 8 years since I seen him last).

Repairs on the R8 are only going to be approx $500
SS I will make an insurance claim for as the door needs replacing etc...

Cheers again!

Mr Gloss is good.. Mates have had a lot of work done there.. It's a fair drive to get some work done though..

I got mine resprayed at Holloway panels in Bayswate (http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=-37.85029,145.280221&spn=0,359.972126&z=16&layer=c&cbll=-37.850209,145.280013&panoid=BzizrBcYuF2sw-0mZ4-GkA&cbp=12,22.09,,0,14.31)r.. They do ok too..
