Got a set of DART Pro 1s coming, bolt on, cnc porting?

Hey guys i have a set of DART pro 1s I am getting off a mate of mine, they are standard heads but ready to bolt on, just wondering who someone can suggest i should be sending them to to get ported, I dont care if i have to send them interstate, also if i bolt them on as they are will they make much of a difference compared to the standard heads..? My car is a VY SS...

I've heard and seen that Dart heads are good straight out of the box, but like any 'as-cast' head, can be improved upon by a good head-man.

Out of the box they are 62cc chambers, so around 10.9:1 static compression and I'd expect around 15-30rwkw and nice torque improvements - the exact improvements will depend upon your other mods also, I'd say.

Depends upon how far you want to go.

Get them ported mate - definitely the Darts need cleaning up for the higher flow figures. But still they are pretty good out of the box. and at a reasonable price. Shane Alex at PowerTorque here in Brendale has done quite a few sets, including M12's that were on his H+C combo to run a 10.7.

Well Macca your close to the money with the kw's mate I had a set of Darts same heads put on my Vy clubby and we got 32kw's but the main difference was it made heaps more torque all through the rev range but especialy in the lower section.

Mine were straight out of the box .

Ok so if they r shaved down 30 thou already then that will obviously on help more right..? sorry bout all the questions its just my knowledge isnt the best as of yet :)
