EPA Question ?

Hey guys

I got a defect the other night for too low and too loud! My own fault i guess. Wasnt going to argue with anyone about it.

Yesterday i put back my stock exhaust system from the cats back on. Ive still got the xforce 4 into 1 extractors and also 3 inch high flow catson. It still failed the noise test with this. 91.9 and 93 on backoff.

If i change the cats back to stock will this bring it under???

Is there anything else i can do?

that sux mate. when i got done i was 110 odd DB and went for the test with the exforce extractors, cats, exhaust and just put the stock rear mufflers back on and passed with an average of 85db.

just stuff some steel wool in your mufflers and you will be sweet! or put a steel plate with some drill holes in it between your flanges... should do the trick.

I would imagine putting the stock cats on will get you under, or do as others have said and put some steel wool in the mufflers

I was hoping not to change the headers but looks like I might have to.

Fingers crossed that it should be ok with the cats on there now

passed at 87db with the cats!

im actually thinking that my high flow cats are screwed
