3.9 diff Gears for vx what are they worth.

I am chasing a set of 3.9s for my VX SS i have been quoted $800 supply only or $1300 supply and fit does this seem like a decent price.

Prices have gone up then, I paid $550 odd for a set of 3.9 gears a few years ago (through Diff Technics)

I called up a diff shop in sydney yesterday about a supply full housing 3.73 ratio shimmed up LSD and a solid pre load to suit a VU freighted to briss and was told i have to pay for the piss on grand final day, bit steep don`t you think?

sounds right mate i bought some from holden for about 750 and got new seals and my tru trac put in for around 1100 tthe gears were through a mate at holden
