I was driving home this afternoon and notice the traction control was in OFF mode so I press the button on the console and nothing happened it seams like the the button has stop working for some reason.

Anyone got any ideas on this or had this happen to them.

My first job in the morning is to check the fuse and relay under the bonnet as far as I know they are the only fuses that have anything to do with Traction Control/ABS.

Any ideas guys????

Ken.

do you have a mafless tune? IAT sensor not connected causes this issue.

This problem has been discussed a few times. Generally it is caused by an ABS module, but can also be caused by a failed/failing battery. It's happened to me, and the battery was knackered.

Can also go off a couple of times prior to engine light coming on if you get into a lean fuel situation I had found in the past.

There are two brake switches as well. If one fails, it can affect the traction control as well.

I recently had the same problem and mine also was the battery.
