Hang on am i reading this right guys?
Does it close all windows if you lock your car or something by key?
Chris
Bah ignor me i checked out the link.. sounds sorta crap how it does one window at a time, would be alot better if it closed all wondows at the same time so you can leave the car faster (plus would make you look cooler)

It's kinda crap how a simple thing like this isn't standard on the cars now anyway. ive seen a lot of euro cars with this and its great. i think its called "global close" a lot of them you can do it from remote, by holding the open or close button down. great for a hot summer day when you can hold open as you approach the car and it opens all windows for you.
At least as a mod it's not so bad if you get it while installing a decent alarm

I had a one like that in my previous car which was added onto the Mongoose alarm i was running. Here's a vid of it in action:

Yeh both my mum's and my sister's Ford Focus have the global window open/close feature controlled by the remote as standard.

the honda accord euro has this as standard. if the car is locked, you hold down the unlock button, all 4 windows come down. the drivers window switch has both auto down and auto up as well.

I want to know the same thing, is there a system for the VE which you can get to control the windows up and down with the unlock/lock button?

Holdens own Vectra had global open and global close in 2003 - thats 6 years ago from when VY was just introduced . Now they are onto series 2 VE surely we expect this stuff by now ! The Astras had it also i think.

Yea mum has that in her euro too
Its a pain if you hold the unlock button down too long though as there's no auto up on the remote
I recall something about the luxury spec VN's had an auto window up/down module that can be intergrated to give you auto up as well as the standard auto down in the VY's and VZ's
