Great photos Chris. I thought the Effijy was the best car there, wow what a fabulous hot rod. New HSV range leaves me cold though ...way too Nissan Cedric for me. I do like the fancy magnetic dampers on the GTS ...Delphi has done a great job and their demo was great too. A revised setting apparently is a big improvement on the "old" version, and that was pretty good.

TopGear tested a GTS recently so it will be shown in the next series. Great day out .... love the Elfins too, especially the clubman version now that they have dropped the way over the top V8 for the turbo 4. Walkinshaw supercharged VE looks fabulous too .... that red sure looks a treat when polished up. HRT will miss Skaifey; Tander & Davidson don't cut it when dealing with the public.

Big call that and I completely disagree. GT and Will were over in Perth for a members day before the start of season and I thought and I still think they handle themselves extremely well in dealing with the public. :bow::bow:
And on top of that they are genuinely nice blokes too.

I actually saw you there today Ron you where talking to someone as I was going into the HSV production area so didnt get an opertunity to say hi

Another thing I forgot to tell people was they started up the coupe 60 and the efigy which I didnt get a photo of, the 60 sounded like a V8 supercar but the efigy sounded like it had no exhaust, very loud and barky
and there was a certain moderators senator on display in the HSVOC area which I also forgot to take a pic of :doh:

Yes, it was a perfect day, our Adelaide friends thought it was well worth the trip over, & succeeded in bringing over absolutely perfect weather with them.
Darryl, a member of the HDTOC of S.A. is even taking home a piece of Tander's car (a wheel!!!....in apparently undamaged condition...no VISIBLE cracks or damage.....for $50......it will form the basis of a coffee table extraordinaire!). They thought it was well worth the trip over.
The HSVOC of Vic put on a great display of 45 cars on what was a perfect day.
Everyone who attended would have received great value for the gold coin admission fee.

'twas a great day out - weather started off cloudy, but cleared into a nice sunny day.

Heaps of people through the gate and there was something for everyone.

HSVOC display looked a treat and all cars scrubbed up nicely.
