Yeah the stone chips kinda distract a little bit.. Coulda photoshoped em out even if it isn't true to life hehe.. It's all about the illusion.. I woulda gone the old vasoline on the end of the lens trick.. AKA Glamour shot.. Hides the small imperfections.. haha..

Oh and also the car's the wrong brand.. haha :jester:

The F6 badge is like putting HSV badges on an omega imo .

You guys are a bit harsh, nice pics! I'd probably have it a little lower if it was mine but that's just me. :goodjob:

yeah i aint that bigger fan of the shaker or the F6 badge, but i did the photos for a friend so that they could give them to the bloke who owns the car for a present.

the old vs needs a good clean up and polish then ill do some new ones of it!! i did like this location only prob was the dirt!!

Just my 2c Macca so take with a grain (or bag) of salt ;)

As BigFella said, if you turn the front wheels to show a decent amount of the face of the wheel, you'll get a better pic.
When you shoot the front-on shot, straighten the wheels to not have one side sticking out.
In shooting the headlight and bonnet decal, come from a higher angle to show the full 'XR6 Turbo' lettering.
Watch your composition with respect to lines of the background and how they intersect with the subject. Better yet, move to a position with a less busy background or where things like the stack of tyres are further away. Consider shooting aperture priority with a low f/ and making the background out of focus. The first shot of the second post is a good example of this working.
And finally (and not important at all since you've already said you really like this site for shooting), I'd be more inclined to shoot a ute here and a sedan on the blacktop somewhere.

As for the car, the shaker and stripes are also not to my tastes but I'm sure it's probably a pretty quick machine.

Hope you take this as it's meant, constructively. I don't mean to sound negative or overly critical. I find the thing with great photography is practice, practice, practice so keep them coming :goodjob:

Hey mate,
shots aren't all that bad really. :goodjob:
Just work on what the others have said and it will make them that little bit better. Also don't always go for the straight on shots, I learnt that the hard way. They are a good addition and can work well as seen in yours but I find that a little bit of angle either up/down/sideways adds that little bit extra and adds other qualities and lines of the car.

Something like you did here: http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e357/VSIIISS/DSC_0252.jpg

If you ever ger the chance also just add a little border around the side, it picks up the whole image and makes it complete whilst not detracting from the image.
Heres some that I have done previously whilst not the best image you get the idea:

Hope that helped a little bit and sorry if that came across as being mean or anything like that.
Cheers.

Edit: Tried it with one of your images, worked quite well I must say :)

Yeah first thing i realised as well...and its a Fraud to start with :stick::jester:

Good effort mate but tell your mate to loose the badges and those cheap looking chrome rims for something a little more racey i reckon.
