Hi all, I have been quoted a drive-away price of $72000 for a E1 HSV GTS no other extras.
Car is red and auto and must be auto for the Mrs to drive also.
No trade straight cash buy. Is that a fair price with the runout.
Kind Regards

Saw a maloo for 63k drive away, had leather aswell. may be apples and oranges but its an idea of the run out prices. So you may be able to get them lower than that, there are some good deals going around at the moment

Don't pay more than 70k, I paid 69k for a brand new GTS a couple of months ago. I would assume there are more savings to be made considering E2 has just been released. I got tint thrown in for free too. And don't waste any money on paint or leather protection.

Initially I was going to get a Tourer on runout; but at the 11th hour I changed it to a VE E 1 GTS; 2 week old demo 660kms; Voodoo auto $66450 driveaway with a couple of accessories thrown in
So shop around !!!

Good luck with your purchase mate. As others have said you should be able to get one alittle lower.
My dad recently bought a E1 GTS, Black with red leather. Manual for 68k.
:goodjob:
It's a great car, you will love it.

If you're talking RRP yes, but not when you're trying to clear your stock.

Seems a little too much, when I was looking for tourers i saw a few GTS' under 70k driveaway. I thought they might have got a bit cheaper now with the E2.

If you have screwed the dealer down to their best price you will always pay more for an auto than a manual even if they are clearing stock.
If you are paying more than their best price anyway then I agree they may throw in 'Auto' or 'Sunroof' etc. But if you have truly screwed them down as far as they can go (and this is what we all try to do etc) then they cannot/will not even throw in tint etc. Anybody that gets 'extras' are actually still paying for them as there was more room to move on the price of the car. This is all part of the art of selling.
I don't know the current best prices but would think anything under $70K drive away for an E1 auto would be a top buy.
