Can anyone advise on what the general rule of thumb is relating to the difference/variance between Flywheel power/kw and resultant loss of power through the VE A6 transmission and diff to what eventuates as Rear Wheel power/KW.

Hope that makes sense?

Anyway any assistance or advice would be appreciated

Regards

Peter

Type in "rwkw fwkw" into this section of the forum, and there are threads everywhere.
As a "general rule", losses are always approximate and similar in percentage across models.

Pete we lose @#$%ing heaps with the VE Auto. I've heard at least 30%

Link below to a convertor but that doesn't answer your question but at least you can conver RWKW to HP etc http://www.mr2ownersclub.com/converter.htm

From memory my stock red SS VE Sedan which is supposed to have 270 FWKW pulled 200 RWKW on Marks dyno. Maybe someone better than me in maths can work out what % drop that is. While you are working it out can you also work out what % I add to my RWKW to achieve FWKW based on the above figures

Cheers
