so Ive taken my diff cradle out and about to put the nolathane mount in, reading the threads on here it suggests it is a simple push in fit.
What I want to know from anyone that has fitted one does the mount have to be trimmed at all. Im trying to line it up at the bottom and there seems to be a fair bit of meat sitting on the inner OEM mount, thus obstructing it from sliding in, trying with a hammer doesnt help, it looks like the only way to get it in is to shave a bit off, has anyone else had to do it that way?

thanks in advance

Spray it all with silicon spray and use some vice grips or monkey grip to pinch the top of the oem rubber up which raises the bottom part and the nolathane mount will slide in with a bit of force. There was a thread on here with a link to US how to i will try and find once i did this is was smooth sailing.

yeah ive gone out and given it another try and used a g clamp to move it up, ive even ground a bit of ruber compund out the bottom of the mount and I still have the nolathane mount and the craddle fouling by a good 4-5mm

once i pinched the top oem bush up it pulled the bottom up that distance 4-5mm and the bottom part of the pedders bush could be knocked in, once it was half way in release the top and bash that in....

cheers for the advise guys, I should have clarified that after I clamped the mount I still had about 4-5mm overhanging I took some of your advise optimus and lubed it up, I pried it down in one corner first then worked across with the screwdriver, with all my body weight pressing down on it by stepping on it it slowly went in. Man is it tight. I hope this stips some of my axle tramp

once again thanks guys for your help and advise
