My question is why is it such a taboo to want to have HSV items fitted to our standard holden vehicles. In relation to this question i examplify with : If we as standard holden owners wish to have the beautifull HSV triple window instrument cluster fitted to our standard holden why couldnt we book in at a HSV dealer and have this proceedure done. In order to keep the value of HSV vehicles up and the average joe from turning their holden into a fake HSV prices could be on the higher side for the enthusiast like myself. Possibly class the new modded car as a HSV Certified for example.
May not be the most intelligent question but im sure that there are alot of holden owners here that would love to take the HSV certified avenue.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Andy.

Obviously if HSV let everyone buy parts to fit to their Holdens in order to make them look/feel like an HSV then we would letting down our customer base who have bought an exclusive new product and paid a premium for doing so.

We want to ensure the integrity of our products are protected and will continue to do so.

I for one dont want to be driving down the road and seeing joe blogs with a HSV part on his Holden after I have just gone and paid $60+ thousand to have that same part in my MALOO...... Now I know you will never stop this from happening just a quick look on ebay will tell you that but HSV and the Holden dealers sure dont need to be promoting anyhting like HSV CERTIFIED VEHICLES.... It was like the HSV ENHANCED cars back in the VS days........
