Differentiation between HSV and Holden obviously is and has always has been of major importance to HSV. I think a lot of people were pleasantly surprised when the E1 was released with the unique taillight assembly (and associated bodywork differences) and front guard vents.

Did HSV investigate the option to increase the sheet metal differences for the E2, and is HSV looking to further the differentiation in the future? I understand the costs involved are very high, but hopefully the E1 has shown that the rewards are there ;)

Ever since we changed sheet metal on coupe 4, we have looked at what we could achieve with changes to sheet metal for our product.

We certainly would like to continue to maintain differentiation into the future and we will look further at the appropriate way to achieve this. For E2 we were able to use the performance hood that offered us a significantly different look for our new cars.

HSV market research has shown, the typical customer wants his HSV to look aggressive and highly differentiated.
