service garage around hurstville/bankstown?

Hi Guys,

I have been taking my car into most of the local garages although they all tend to be pretty crap. My last effort was a major service in which my car got given back to me in worse condition than I handed it over. Unfortunately I don't see the point of giving it back to them to ruin it even further.

If anyone knew of a garage worth using around the hurstville/bankstown area that do a decent job at a reasonable rate, I would love to hear about it. I live in Peakhurst so the closest would be prefered as I would probably be stuck walking home from the shop.

what about Sams? Is he still in Padstow? I thought he was good to Lsx engines and owners?

Mate you could try Blakehurst Automotive at South Hurstville. The address is 930 King Georges road (just down from connels point road, next to the Metro servo). He is pretty good with his prices, I used to take my old SS there and he is someone I know I can trust with any of my cars.

Mate, might be a little further but strongly recommend Tunehouse in Marrickville. They go over every little detail when servicing. My car felt brand new again after a service, they even lubricated the door hinges, re torqued the suspension. Jim (owner) also makes the BEST coffee!! I drive over an hour to get my car serviced there.
