As above. Wouldn't mind hearing if anyone has given this a go before?? With the dollar the way it is they certainly are tempting.

Dunno if this link will work for people who are not members, but a mob in the US tested on a STOCK (untuned) LS3.

So, around 10-15rwhp throughout the rev-range - clearly, more with a tune and perhaps even more with a modified engine. Whether they are worth it for the average person, who knows? Probably the last thing one would do, to get the very last drop of performance out of their car, after all else has been done.

From what I see, for a stock l98 the gains make it hard to justify then dollars.
But if you have cam and heads or stroker then greater gains are more rewarding.
Either way, I am ordering one in the next week, just watching the Aust dollar.

PS mine is going into a L76 stroker with 239/247 cam and cnc heads

Just wondering if you got round to fitting the manifold?

Not a 6 litre, but on my LS1 we went from a Ported LS6 with 85mm
Power Products T/B to the Fast 92 and Nick Williams 92mm T/B.
The result was a loss of 4rwkw, from 304rwkw to 300 flat.
This is on a Heads and Cam LS1. The only saving grace is that
it was 47 degrees in the dyno cell the day it was fitted/tuned
and dynoed. Car seems to drive better with the FAST combo
though. Lot of $ to spend though if you dont get gains.

i have a fast 92 with a nick williams 92 mm t/b on a stock ls1...
I know seems like a waste, but will be h&c later.
it rolled onto the dyno with 236 rwkw and rolled off the dyno at 253rwkw.

Cam CNC heads and manifold fitted before Xmas and tuned as well.
Went from 336RWKW to 358RWKW on the dyno at Powertorque Engines Brisbane.
I don't know what gains I got from each item, all work carried at 1 time and then tuned.

From what I've seen/heard (seconhand info), on VE L98s they seem to be a lot of money for little gain. As Macca said above, probably a last item to acquire in order to wring every possible kw out of it, but not good bang for buck....... :(

Can second what wonky said, from the cars i have seen with the fast manifold i have not seen any gains worth the money they are, imo of course..as proof i know of a car that ran 11.8 on a ls6 manifold, fitted and tuned with the fast went a best of 12.1...maybe the comment on the cubes and mods being required i dont know but i cant afford to buy one to be proven wrong...

Seems on the L76 and L98 the manifold by itself doesnt net to much in the rwkw department, but once coupled with a NW 102 TB it seems to come on better - $/Kw though isn't as high as a cam etc

If i was going to get the Fast 102 for my VE L76, i would only do it in conjunction with a 102 TB

anyone got an ls1 with cam with one of these fitted without having heads done?
how much of a power increase?
