bloody nice photos there, really clear. got anymore???

i have to go one year, still havent been. only drove threw bathurst on the way back from Melbourne to Brissy this year, but there was a race on and couldnt drive on the track, bugger, next time hey.

Don't seem to have any good ones of the utes. Never seemed to have the camera on me when they were on track

Hey nice pics.. One little Post Processing tip.. I use a program called Neat Image Pro.. It filters the final image and makes it sharper.. Sort of compensates for the softness of the kit lens.. Give it a try.. there's also a plugin for it for Photoshop CSX.

I hope ya don't mind. I gave it a go on one of your pics. It's a bit hard with a resized JPG as it's already compressed. Usually I go it on RAW files before re-compressing to JPG. Anyway.. :goodjob:

Thanks for the comments guys. This is the first time I've ever done some photography so I think they've turned out alright.

Thanks for the tip Nidz, I'm looking at getting a couple printed up in decent size and framed, so i'll look at touching them up before I do that.

For those that want to know, the photos were taken on a Nikon D5000 with a 55-200mm f/4-5.6G Lens

Any chance you have some more close-ups of the HRT (2, 22) cars (even the Jack Daniels) in full size I could download from you?

I would like to use them as wallpapers on my PC. I have a 23 & 30" wide screen monitor and its hard to get good photos to fit...
