THE LAST THREAD I CREATED WHICH WAS MY FIRST DIDNT GO TOO WELL SO... seeing all the forums having galleries for bonnets, coupes, and utes, im sure everyone including me would like to see some good wheels pictures, i will start it off, i have been a member for long but do not contribute but only read to learn more and i think its time i should start so i wanna see your wheels!

Bloody hell there are some nice utes on this site.

Congrats to everyone, i'd be proud as shit if i owned any of these.

Been trawling through these pages trying to find something that would suit a phantom sv6 with SSSL's front and rear with gt monroe shocks.

Will only go 19's at most, roads here are crap and still need to put things in the back (shock horror!) lol. And i need to keep the cost down as much as possible.

Can't work out whether i want to go black or chrome...

Finailly the Avalance

These are BMW 3 series wheels. 18 x 8 with +40 offset. Tyres are Bridestone S03s 245/40 all round. Some dont like the look but these are picked to break up the shape of the car and in addition the avalanch brakes have huge calipers and it is hard to fine 18 x 8 that fit over the brakes. I had not intention of going bigger diamerter as I use the car for dirt road driving (or rally driving sometimes it seems)

Even fit over the AP racing brakes on the GTS with room to spare. Great offset for more - camber if someone is looking for track wheels

Just for a bit of show and something different. Generally I put the supercar wing on for race use only. It is a real carbon fibre one, off a VT supercar so has a genuine purpose and does work. This is a circuit car on the weekends but I like the wing for something different. Not real practicable for street use though.

They are copies. Think I wrote that. Tempe Tyres do them at about $200 each. 18x9 means you can fit the fat 265 RE55 tyres on. Plenty of grip.

If you mean the Avalanche wheels I did not write copies on there but they are definitively copies from a 3 series. No idea what model. I got these off some shop of e-bay for about $800 delivered. I have never seem them anywhere else for sale as copies either. They are great wheel and work well.

Would these rims clear ve hsv brakes? I like the dish look, but haven't seen anybody pull it off with the hsv brakes.

Hi All, just got some new wheels for the shaggin wagon, thought i'd post some pics. i know not to everyones tast but it is old-school muscle car look i was after! Excuse the dirty car and poor quality pics (iphone). Yes the bumper is on the to do list! i Have the back springs pumped up bags for towing so it is sitting high in these pics too sorry! 20x8.5 front 225/35 (yes not load rated...) 20X9.5 rear 255/30 Love the big rear dish.

I would start with Ultra lows all round.. then maybe get them reset/Compressed to where you want.. thats what i did :) Make sure you get SSSL's not SSL's.. or if you have the Doh get some pedders xtream coilovers.

Hahaha, cheers, I'm pretty sure the CH's are silver and the CH-R's are matt black, the silver lip is actually a rim protector and can be removed..

The offset isnt spot on with them but a little bit of rolling should be all they need..

19"s mate, they dont come any bigger in that style, dam VE guards make anything smaller than 22's look tiny. Yeah the price is steep but they are worth it IMO
