VZ GTO - Replacing LED in High Mount Brake

Does anyone have instructions on how to replace a blown LED in the high mount brake light?

Does the unit come out separately or does the whole parcel tray have to come out??

pops out seperatly, go inside the boot underneath you will see some 15mm long rectangular tabs, 3of, push them up and the whole assembly will pop out then get back inside and unplug the plug.

thanks mate. i got it all apart only to realise that there was no LED inside and the lens had been blackened out from factory.

I ordered an LED and clear lens. My question is, is there any point having this stop light, as there is already one on the rear spoiler??

no point if you keep the spolier on. if you take the spoiler off then yes. but make sure the glass hasnt been blacked as well otherwise its a pointless exercise
